Enjoy the Grind

Enjoy the Grind

I really, truly, have nothing to write. This week has been a blur. I’ve been implementing a new schedule, which is a little hardcore, but then again so are my goals. I’ve been getting up at 4:50am every weekday so I can do a little stretching and whatnot before I sit at my desk from 5:30-7:30 and work on a new project before work. It’s exciting but daunting. I haven't had time to read, or write, or work out. And by that I mean I haven’t done a good job of making time for those important things.

The truth is, when you grind, things fall off the sides. It’s like trying to carry a whole load of laundry straight from the machine to your bedroom; some socks and undies are going to fall off along the way. Maybe that's just me, because I don't have anything figured out yet.

My goals are the following:

1. Make enough money to provide for myself and a few others

2. Work for myself: never have to ask anyone’s permission to take a vacation

3. Have the skills to build everything back up from scratch, if necessary.

Don't worry about the specifics - I have a plan. Anyway, I’m here because I’m publishing every Sunday no matter what. Right now, I’m oh-so-slightly buzzed off red wine and have just finished my meal prep for the week.I have my health, and some goals, and more than one inspiring person who will answer my calls. I don’t see how my life could be any better.

Because I don’t know a single thing better than being alive and healthy enough to pursue something your heart truly wants.

If you’re reading this, first of all, thank you. Whatever you’re doing, whoever you are, I hope you have the cajones and the intelligence to do it with your whole heart.
